Do you still write thank you cards? Sending a thoughtful hand-written card is a classy way to show appreciation for gifts or acts of kindness. Admittedly, it’s so much faster and easier to send a quick thank you text to a friend while waiting in line at the grocery store than to sit down, pull out the pen and paper and write something. While it’s perfectly acceptable to send thank you texts to close family and friends, for everyone else though, I would err on the side of tradition and send a hand-written thank you card.
To save time, I often keep a few thank you cards in my purse for times when I have a few minutes to write a note. I’ve always loved the idea of having my own personalized stationary and thank you cards, so I finally ordered a set. Today, I’m partnering with Basic Invite to share my experiences ordering my custom cards.
The Basic Invite website was attractive and easy to navigate. There were many designs to choose from, but the selection wasn’t overwhelming. Once you choose your favorite design, you have the option to change the color scheme to fit your individual taste. In fact, there are over 180 different color options to choose from! I didn’t want to spend too much time obsessing over every little detail, so I just went with the default color schemes – which are very attractive.
I decided to order a few sample cards to see how the picture quality would turn out on different types of paper before I ordered in bulk. I was very happy with both the quality of the paper and the printing. Of the different paper options, my favorite was the “premium shimmer.”
There are over 40 color options for the envelopes and all of them feature the easy peel-and-seal. If you don’t want to address them yourself, Basic Invite offers recipient address capturing and printing.
If you’re looking for a unique gift idea for someone who has everything, personalized stationary may be a good choice. Who doesn’t enjoy receiving something that was custom made for them? My husband still fondly remembers the set of personalized stationary he received when he graduated from high school. With graduation season coming up, check out these senior announcement cards and grad thank you cards. Use coupon code 15FF51 to get 15% off with your order.
